For once, it was Ladbrokes that had taken the big punt.

They'd completely departed from the offer-based comms of the sector and played to the beat of anticipation with ‘Drummers’ in the Euros.

It stood out and paid off.

Now it was time to continue that anticipation into the new season.

What was supposed to be the Euros film 're-cut' quickly snowballed into a brand new nationwide shoot (score!).

With Director ‘Joe Connor’ we tracked down the die-hard football fans who were drummers.

A two-part TV and OOH campaign blanketed the nation, with drummers building hype throughout the week and then finally unleashing on match day.

To innovate, the drummers were refreshed each ad break depending on the club that were playing.
